Download full size photos from Facebook Mobile

If you are like me who is sticked to his mobile for facebook and uses opera mini then you surely might have faced the problem of not being able to view or download  photos on facebook in the original size they were uploaded to facebook.

Before facebook  merged its facebook mobile version for touch screen and non-touch screen mobiles, the photos  were shown in their original size as they were uploaded by anyone on facebook. After the release of new versions (which was long time back now) the photos are shown in small size which are incomprehensible and literally of no use.

The easiest method i found is explained here:

Step 1: In opera mini login to your facebook account and open any photo you want to download.

Step 2: Next, long press on the facebook photo you just opened and a menu will open. Select "Open Image".

Step 3: Now when the photo opens click the url tab , you will see the url similar to this:

Replace the alphabet "a" (without inverted commas) with "n"  (without inverted commas). for example like this:

Don't make any other changes and let the page load.

Thats it. You can now view and download the facebook photo in its original size. It is possible to zoom the photo in opera browser  itself prior to downloading to see the minute details of the photo which wasn't possible before.

I found out that in other mobile browser that is UC browser which i use, the facebook photos are shown in original size by default and can be downloaded as it is without making any changes.
